As a Mechanical Engineer graduate, Emmalyne Head has always enjoyed working in Manufacturing and Technical environments. She is currently a Metal-line Body Assembly Process Engineering at Nissan North America and has worked in many functions of the business including engineering, production, supply chain management, and quality group. Throughout her career, she focused on developing people and most recently led her Team to become a top performer in her Department.

Emmalyne has served on the Nissan Women’s Business Synergy Team leadership board for the past five years, serving in Membership and Communication Director capacities. Most recently the Manufacturing Involvement Chair which leads Technician career preparation projects across the Smyrna facilities. This is her true passion, developing the Nissan production technician staff though coordinating resume-writing, interview and speaker series workshops.

Starting during college as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, Emmalyne has dedicated countless volunteer hours to exposing young girls to the Science Technical, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) field. She has since continued to assist through the annual Nissan Summer Engineering Enrichment program that is a summer camp that introduces high students to the Engineering field. She as well is a dedicated volunteer to several other organizations that focus on developing the next generation of Women Leaders through Southern Automotive Women’s Forum, Society of Women Engineers and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
