Roxanna Metz
Roxanna Metz is the plant lead of the Indiana Auto Plant (IAP) of Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC (HDMA), with responsibility for overall vehicle manufacturing operations.
Roxanna joined Indiana Auto Plant in 2008 as Parts Quality Engineer in the Purchasing Division with a commodity supply base of glass and injection molding. She was assigned as Parts Quality Department manager in 2011, overseeing supplier quality for Indiana Auto Plant.
After spending 6 years in the Purchasing Division, Roxanna moved into the position of Manufacturing Quality Cross-Functional Leader. In this role, Metz lead quality for the Manufacturing Division, which includes the departments of Weld, Stamping, Paint, Plastics and Assembly. During her 4 years in this role, Metz lead her quality team to set records for plant quality.
In 2018, Roxanna was assigned the role of Paint / Plastics Department Manager. As department manager, Metz lead all operations for the Paint and Plastics departments. Her passion to create a work family atmosphere, helped her to lead the team to improve overall attrition for both direct and in-direct associates.
Metz was promoted to division lead of the Manufacturing Planning & Control Division at IAP in April 2021, overseeing the Production Management and Equipment Service departments, and serving as the gateway for communications to other Honda regional business operations.
April 2023, Metz assumed her current role as plant lead of IAP. In this role, she leads more than 2,700 associates at the plant in Greensburg, Indiana, who produce the Honda Civic Hatchback and Civic hybrid, CR-V and CR-V hybrid.
Prior to her career at Honda, Roxanna spent 12 years working for an automotive supplier in varies quality roles. During this time, she also earned her Quality Technician Certification from ASQ.
Roxanna loves the Decatur County community and has called the area home her entire life. To serve her community, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Corporation of Greensburg/Decatur County and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Decatur County Chamber of Commerce from 2016-2018.
