Scholarship Program

The Southern Automotive Women’s Forum (SAWF) supports the advancement of women in automotive careers by encouraging young women to pursue STEM fields—science, technology, engineering, and math. SAWF strives to inspire confidence, skills, and ambition among students, helping them explore opportunities in the automotive industry, from technicians to executives.

To address the gender gap in STEM, SAWF provides guidance, mentoring, and scholarships to deserving female students. Since launching the program in 2011, SAWF has awarded over $519,000 in scholarships and continues to grow its impact through industry fundraising and professional events.

Applicants must be women enrolled or planning to enroll in a STEM-related field at an accredited two-year technical program, four-year undergraduate program, or graduate program in a southern state. The field of study must support a career in the automotive industry. (see complete eligibility guidelines)
